New Chapter, Who Dis? | CFWA + Micro Weddings + Real Friendships

Big news: ya girl just joined the Central Florida Wedding Association! 🎉

This is a huge step for me and my little photography biz because it means I’m officially stepping into a new chapter—one that’s all about intimate weddings, dreamy elopements, and finally meeting the faces behind all those Instagram handles I’ve been fangirling over for years.

If you know me, you know I’m all about the love stories. But lately, I’ve fallen head-over-camera-strap for micro weddings —you know, the kind of weddings that feel like a cozy dinner party with vows and happy tears. They’re intimate, meaningful, and full of the kinds of moments I live to capture.

So when the chance came to join CFWA, I knew it was time to get out from behind my screen and actually meet the amazing creatives I’ve been following (and quietly stalking) for forever. Being involved there I’ve met photographers I’ve admired for years (fangirl mode: activated), and I’m still connecting with florists, planners, DJs, hair & makeup artists, and even discovering new venues I didn’t know existed right in my own backyard.

The best part? I’m not just collecting business cards—I’m making real friendships. I’m learning new things, sharing laughs, swapping stories, and soaking up all the inspo like a sponge in a glitter bath. ✨

This chapter is about more than just growing my business (though, let’s be real—that part is exciting too). It’s about becoming more me in the process. A better photographer, a better marketer, a better human who just happens to carry a camera everywhere she goes.
