Graduating is one of our highest achievements we work so hard to get to. Why not book a graduation portrait session?
Last week I met up with Rhonda at Daytona State College, only ten minutes from Daytona Beach, to capture some beautiful memories of her in her cap and gown on campus. First we met in front of the main building for some casual still shots. Then we went in the center of the campus at ECHO Hall to include the tall clock. This clock looks like it's been there for many years and has seen lots of hard work and acomplishments.
That same area had a round lounging area of concrete benches where you can sit and study or just take in the sunny day and I had her sit for the next several shots. There was plenty of natural light to brighten up our session with trees behind us.
Next I had her walk down the sidewalk by the building next to us for that cat walk pose. I love doing these walking poses because it looks so effortless and natural, all while showing off your gorgoues look. (I know how much time and effort goes into doing your hair, make up, picking out the right outfit with the perfect shoes!)
I found a bright white wall by the Student Center which was perfect for her leaning photo. I had her cross her arms for that power look that says, "Yeah, I went here and I MASTERED my nursing program".
We finished up our shoot with cap and gown photos where she displayed her cap she decorated which said, "She believed she could, so she did". What a statement! And yes, she did!
